Dr. Markus Herrmann

Dr. Markus Herrmann began his career in research in 1996 with Deutsche Bank’s Global Markets Research, focusing on covered bonds and later the European securitisation markets. From 2002 to 2008, he was Managing Director and the head of global ABS research of the HSBC Group in London. In 2009, he joined LBBW in Stuttgart and held various positions, including ABS portfolio management, CRM and strategy research. Since the beginning of 2019, he has been Senior Analyst at LBBW Financials and Covered Bond Research, responsible for Irish, British, Spanish and Portuguese banks.
Dr. Herrmann studied Economics and Finance, and holds a PhD in Finance from Konstanz University.
