Götz Michl

Götz Michl has been responsible for the long-term funding of Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG and the contacts to debt capital investors since 2010. His responsibilities include the issuance of Pfandbriefe, unsecured bonds, promissory notes as well as Tier 2 and AT 1 instruments. In addition to capital market products, Michl is also responsible for the deposit business under the brand "pbb direkt" and the issuance of sustainable bonds (Green Bonds).

Prior to joining pbb Deutsche Pfandbriefbank, he worked as Head of German Real Estate for Royal Bank of Scotland and ABN AMRO in Frankfurt. Götz Michl has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry with a focus on securitization and commercial real estate.

After studying economics in Regensburg and Oxford, he started his professional career at Bayerische Vereinsbank as a credit analyst for commercial real estate finance. He is a member of the Capital Markets Committee of the Association of German Pfandbrief Banks and a regular speaker at capital markets conferences.
