Bastian Blasig

Bastian Blasig is Senior Manager in the Regulatory Affairs and Risk Management Division of the Association of German Pfandbrief Banks (vdp). He has been working for the vdp since 2014 and focuses on the regulation of credit risk (capital requirements according to CRR - standardised approach and internal models) but also on large exposures requirements, the definition of own funds, capital buffers and supervisory reporting. He previously worked as a consultant and auditor at the auditing firm KPMG and as a customer advisor at Berliner Sparkasse, a division of Landesbank Berlin. Bastian studied business administration at the University of Potsdam with a focus on banking and finance and completed an apprenticeship as a bank clerk.
