Florian Hillenbrand

Florian Hillenbrand is a Director at UniCredit’s Credit Research Department. He is responsible for unsecured Bank debt analysis, Covered Bonds and ABS. Florian has almost 20 years’ experience in financial markets. Most of this time, he dedicated to covered bond research. In the past few years Florian also was actively managing UniCredit’s strategic investment portfolio before he gathered some experience in UniCredit’s debt syndicate department.

Currently, Florian dedicates most of his resources to covered bond and ABS analysis with particular emphasis on regulatory and legal issues. Florian is a founding member of the Round Table Covered Bond Legislation.

Florian is a CFA charterholder and holds a master’s degree in economics from the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich.
