Calenberger Kreditverein

The Calenberger Kreditverein based in Hannover is a public-sector mortgage bank. It was founded in 1825 by the Knighthoods of the Calenberg-Göttingen-Grubenhagen`sche and the Hildesheim`sche landscapes. For refinancing, the Calenberger Kreditverein emits registered mortgage bonds and promissory notes, in particular to place long-term fixed-rate loans to the agricultural and forestry sector and for the financing of real estate. The business area focuses mainly on the northern part of Germany. In certain cases the Calenberger Kreditverein also grants loans all over Germany.
