The Pfandbrief Roundtable 2020

Although the ECB’s targeted long-term refinancing operations TLTRO have dampened the issuance of benchmark Pfandbriefe in 2020 to date, the Pfandbrief has proven its worth in the midst of the Covid 19 crisis, according to participants in the Pfandbrief Round Table session – which took place in early July 2020 hosted by Covered Bond Report and vdp. Topics on the agenda included the credit outlook, the role of the Pfandbrief for economic recovery, plus green and social issuance.
